Convenience chains rarely close for holidays. Most stores are open Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, Easter Sunday, and other major holidays with regular hours, since the chain-wide value proposition depends on continuous availability for travelers and overnight workers. Hot food kitchens (made-to-order subs at Wawa, MTO at Sheetz, made-to-order pizzas at Casey’s) typically run shorter hours than the store; the kitchen may close hours before the store closes.
